Presented by Tomika Flowers, LCSW, this session will cover essential business fundamentals including how to structure your practice, market your services ethically, manage finances, and avoid common pitfalls in private, group practice, entrepreneurship. Whether you're just beginning to consider business ownership or already running a small practice, this presentation will provide practical tools and insights to help you grow with confidence and purpose.

Tomika Flowers, LCSW

Tomika Flowers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in mental health, program development, and community advocacy. She currently serves in the federal government and also operates her own coaching and consulting business, Gutsy Black Girl, which empowers women—especially clinicians and helping professionals—to heal financial trauma, build wealth, and embrace entrepreneurship. A dynamic speaker and mentor, Tomika is passionate about helping social workers shift from survival mode to financial freedom by combining clinical expertise with practical business strategies. Her mission is rooted in integrity, access, and transformation.
